J3x joined OpenZeppelin as a security researcher, contributing to the security of the Ethereum ecosystem.

We introduced study-together sessions, a new layer of collaboration between security researchers. We had two sessions in January:

Algiers Meetup

We organized Algiers Meetup, with 30+ attendees, 2 sessions and great energy. The theme was about applied mathematics in subjects of interest for the community.

IRL, we had a whiteboard session presented by Rezazi Mohamed Abdessamed from Nethermind. It was an introduction to zero knowledge proofs.

Online, we had Youssef El Housni from Consensys. It was about his career development from Math Olympiad in high school, to their research in applied cryptography securing millions of dollars on the blockchain. Here’s the recording
